The Kennedy Center: 50th Anniversary Season
With plans to reopen in full this September, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has just released the performance information in celebration of its 50th Anniversary. A highlight of the season will be a re-imagined performance of Leonard Bernstein’s Requiem, which was the inaugural concert of the newly completed performance venue back in 1971.
Special guests-in-residence include Carlos Simon, Jaqueline Woodson, The Roots, and Robert Glasper, with Maestro Gianandrea Noseda returning to lead the National Symphony Orchestra. Read more about the upcoming season here.
